Andrea Blecke, PT, ATC, Director of Providence Medical Center Therapy Services, recently announced that Kayla Korth, M.A., CCC-SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) has joined the PMC Therapy Department.  “She is passionate and knowledgeable about speech therapy,” says Blecke.  “It is a wonderful opportunity to expand our Speech Therapy services to full time for our patients.”

“We are very pleased to have Kayla as a new addition to our Therapy team,” says PMC Chief Operating Officer Kris Giese.  “Speech therapists are difficult to find and we’ve never had the opportunity to employ one in a full-time status.  In the past, this has sometimes presented a challenge in terms of scheduling patients in as timely of fashion as we would have liked.  Having Kayla here will allow us to improve the service we are able to provide and her expertise will be such a great benefit to so many members of our community.  She has already proven to be a wonderful asset to our patients’ care.”

Korth will be working with children and adults in preventing, assessing, diagnosing and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

For more information, we encourage you to contact the Providence Medical Center Therapy Department at 402-375-7937 or your physician.
