CEO's Message

Progress is the theme for 2017 as we continue to move through our construction and renovation project!  Our new Emergency Department has been completed and is in use, the Pharmacy Department has been upgraded and expanded, the Business Office and Medical Records area is occupied and functioning and the foundation office is now in its location in the front lobby.

Remodeling the “B” wing and nurse’s station is currently underway and on schedule to be completed by the end of March.  The upcoming phases include remodeling the radiology, lab, dietary and outpatient services departments.  We are on schedule to wrap up the project during March of 2018.

The results of our Community Health Needs Assessment were recently published.   The results of this process will be used by our Board of Directors for Strategic Planning purposes and will drive our initiatives the next three years.  You can find a copy of the report by going to the bottom of the front page of our website www.providencemedical.com

There are several initiatives underway for 2017 at Providence Medical Center, including customer service training for all employees, management training for supervisors, and a renewed focus on providing safe, efficient, high-quality care to our patients.  Our employees take great pride in creating an environment of healing and service. We strive to make the care provided at Providence Medical Center second to none.

Despite the continually changing landscape of healthcare, our mission remains constant, “to provide quality health care in the Spirit of Christ.”  Our employees and medical providers understand that health care is more than making diagnoses and prescribing medications. Health care is considering your physical and spiritual well-being and doing whatever it takes to ensure you feel safe and comfortable.

Thank you for your patience while we undergo this construction process.  I would like to commend our employees for working through the challenges that construction brings!  We look forward to the completion of this project that will position Providence Medical Center to be your provider of choice for health care into the future!

My personal commitment to you is that caring for you and those you love is the focus of every decision made here at Providence Medical Center.  I am deeply honored and grateful for the privilege of working on your behalf as the CEO of Providence Medical Center.  Please do not hesitate to contact me to let me know how we are doing.
