As president of the Providence Medical Center Foundation, I am privileged to work alongside community members and loyal supporters of Providence Medical Center to assist in the mission of PMC through fundraising. In addition to honoring donor designations for restricted gifts, and careful stewardship of foundation resources and investments, I also manage and oversee our database to assure accuracy and proper recognition of our donors. I am grateful to all of our friends who so generously continue to invest in Providence Medical Center, and who believe in keeping quality healthcare close to home.
The Wayne Hospital Foundation filed its first Articles for Incorporation in December of 1961. Original board members included Mary Einung, Herman Lundberg, Willard Wiltse, Ralph Carhart, Adon Jeffrey and Kenneth M. Olds.
The PMC Foundation supports the health care services and education mission of Providence Medical Center and is composed of area-wide community leaders who believe strongly in the importance of philanthropy in fulfilling the foundation's mission.
Annual giving is the cornerstone of the development program. Planned giving opportunities are also available through the foundation.
I want to thank each of you who, through your generous gifts, help us to provide assistance to Providence Medical Center. You are investing in the future of quality healthcare for all of northeast Nebraska.
